YA/YA's mission is to empower creative young people to become successful adults. We do this by providing educational experiences in the arts and entrepreneurship to New Orleans-area youth, and by fostering and supporting their ambitions.

A YA/YA Carnival 2010!

Watch for the YA/YA touch all over town this Carnival season, from hand-painted ladders along St. Charles Avenue to throws during the Krewe of Orpheus parade on Lundi Gras. Click here to learn more about our Carnival design plans, and to order your own YA/YA Mardi Gras ladder and gifts!

On February 29, we hosted our first YA/YA Open Studio for 2010, welcoming families to a Mardi Gras Ladder workshop. Check out our photos from the workshop, and watch the YA/YA calendar for upcoming Open Studio events!
