YAYAs in the News for Carnival 2011!
Young Aspirations/Young Artists (YAYA) and our Mardi Gras Ladder project have been catching a lot of attention again this year. The custom hand-painted ladders were featured on WGNO's morning show on Monday, February 7, and orders have been pouring in! This past weekend, seven local students took part in our Mardi Gras Ladder Open Studio, during which they created their very own ladders under the guidance of YAYA artist-mentors.
