Artist Spotlight:


YA/YA would like to recognize Quinton Gilmore, Brooklynn Johnson, Donnie Frazier, Austin Richards, De'Nita Cotton and Shelby Stoor, who have been apprenticing at YA/YA this semester. Along with running the booth at Fresh Art Festival, these students also participated in a two day cigar box painting workshop over Thanksgiving break. Their boxes were on sale at the Ashe Cultural Center's Holiday on the Boulevard. Some of these students also assisted the YA/YA artists in our Urban Heroes program at Samuel J. Green and Sophie B. Wright charter schools.
